Whee!

Elective wasn't exactly fun, but at least the game was quite entertaining. There were only 3 girls - Shih Ting, Zina and me. And lucky me got to join the guys group that I'm closer to, since we three girls had to be separated lol. Yay to USA! Eh, I'm the President haha. Jun Hao's the Economic Advisor/Foreign Minister (we switched roles). Rong Hui's the Service Chief for US Army, Tsun Leung for US Air and Jordan for US Navy. I think we work quite well lah, just a bit of problems here and there that i shouldn't mention here. Problems with communication, i'd say. But still, I like my group. Mr Zein's a really nice teacher. Yay.

Well, these few days have been great. Thanks for the times out together yeah? Haha, class outing this sunday! I can't wait! If you guys see this, PLEASE GO FOR CLASS OUTING. Like finally one in one and a half years! Oh hope Jun Hao gets well soon enough to go for class outing. GET WELL SOON JUNHAO! Good luck Chak in persuading people to go too. I've really tried lol. I'll still try though!

Year 4 Level Camp!

Although it was tiring, I really enjoyed the camp.

We had the Gunung Panti Trek on the first day. Being the first group to experience leeches wasn't that bad, cos at least we needn't hear the other people tell stories about leech bites! Lucky for my group, none of got any leech bites. HURRAY TO GROUP 19! The mountain trek was indeed tiring, going uphill especially. Yingjie sprained her ankle while coming downhill. I think this really taught us alot about teamwork, cooperation and effective communication. Our group bonded on the first day and worked really well together.

THe Pelepah Waterfall trek was great too. In fact, it's one of my favourites. We had to climb rocks and threaded through alot of water. But still, it was a total blast when we reached the end and splashed each other with water. Helping each other with the climbing of rocks and all really helped us bond even closer together.

Team Titanic. Our raft was really very stable actually. But there was too little rope or else we could have won. Anyway, good job to the people who took part - Ovidia, Lee Si Min, Rong Hui, Hao Yi, Zhen Zhou, Yu Hui, Ophelia, Xun Lin.

Kayaking! Yay I was grouped with Christopher and Rong Hui. Haha, having two guys is real great because they'd be able to do more work. Lol, kidding. It was tiring for the arms and the water was supr dirty and smelly but we still enjoyed it. Splashing water at classmates and teachers, racing each other to a certain point.. We all really had fun despite the disgusting water.

Firefly cruise was super boring. You only see the fireflies on the trees and one or two flying around. The rest was just sitting in the boat. Alot of people were sleeping, including CHAK haha. Expected right. But really, it was boring though the sight was pretty.

Nature Elements, Low Ropes and Mass Games. These three sections really brought our group so much closer together as a CLASS. We worked as a class in these three activities and I could really feel the bond. Transporting our friends over, consoling them and helping them to pick up courage, throwing water bombs at instructors and teachers and later getting splashed with buckets of water.

Campfire was a total blast! We all cheered our hearts out and sang along with the music. Scorpion King FREDDY was one of the hosts alongside with Camp Chief Weiquan. They were really very comical haha. The class items were not bad. I loved the time after campfire. When our class came together in one chalet and played games and all. The rest of the details shall be kept shh shh! THANKS FREDDY, YOU ROCK! :D

All in all, I really enjoyed the camp though the conditions were quite bad. Insects everywhere, bad toilet, stuffy tents, leeches etc. The camp really taught me alot and let me experience something totally new, something that i wouldn't go try on my own at this age. The class bonded, especially when preparing for the campfire item. The guys really made the dancing girls feel so touched. Everything was so last minute, yet they cheered us on and believed that we could do it. Thanks Jason, Chak, Terence, Tsun Leung and all the other guys who came up to tell us that we could do it. Our class guys rawk. And so do the class girls! (:

Scorpia (C,D,I,J) was really great too! We cheered and cheered like nobody's business and all of us were quite bonded though we were from different classes. I'll never forget the instructors, especially 4C's FARAH and PINGWEI, scorpion king FREDDY, group 19's partner group's (group 20) RUTH, and the crazy WAYNA. SCORPIA PSSSSSSST.

I love 4C'08.
Through this camp, we've been through so much together. All the laughter, the disagreements, the encouragements, the tears, the bond. I'll never forget this. I'll never forget all of us.

4C'08 <3

i think 4C'08 rawks!

cip was really good. talked to a few of the elderly after doing some singing. although it was quite a stone time for the singing, but at least we tried our best. so good job girls and guys! sorry i flared at some of you k ): was totally in a fluster what to do. i think some of the elderly really very interesting. they tell you all sorts of stories that's in the past and just talk to you about their lives. they're really friendly and i really think some of their drawing really better than mine. i can't draw to save my life!

had class dinner! even youri turned up haha. the others that were there were chua si min, lee si min, lynn, ovid, quanhuan, ronghui, christopher, kenneth, junhao, tsun leung, qihang, jiezhi and jason. very fun! never had class dinner before, so this was a really good experience. very fun with the whole class eating together.

then later walked to lynn's condo to learn chacha from ovid! wah the guys walked super slow! long legs but walk so slow haha. and i thought guys walk very fast one. misconception! but well, learning chacha was fun! paired up with chua and actually we learn quite fast. chua left soon after so i paired with lynn. haha we learn very fast lor. the guys were super comical.

left the place at 830pm and went home with ronghui, tsun, kenneth and christopher. yupp. chris alighted at paya lebar and the other 3 guys at tampines. but all in all the day was fun.


today we met at 430pm at lynn's place again to practice chacha. finished it really quickly cos actually its really quite easy. then we played a few games, as in the girls, then we learnt the dance from angelina! ITS FUN FUN FUN. REALLY VERY FUN. YAY. our guys cant dance lol. good job girls! left early with serene and came home for dinner. so here i am now. lol.

oh, thanks lynn, chua and shihting for standing by me when i needed you guys so bloody much. i would have died by now if it wasn't for you all encouraging me. but still... sigh. life sucks to the max. thanks ovid and trish too, for caring.

been seriously ill these few days. lost my voice, flu, sore throat, cough. i hate this. but it's just as well, then i wouldn't have to speak, for i'm afraid that when i start to say something, i would say something wrong. life sucks.

so today, lessons were pretty much okay. haha. maths quiz was o_O as expected! rawrrrr. to think i thought i knew everything. turned out that i didn't know much after all. gotta revise more! ahhh. choir interviews have finally come to an end! wah, seriously, interviewing people is really energy draining. you'd feel so blur and tired and groggy after that you just feel like falling asleep when you can. lol. yay.

went home with trish and wansi! lols we were having a lot of laughter on the mrt ride back. wansi alighted at outram park so left trish and i. we went into fits of laughter for so many things till our stomachs ached and tears flowed out ahaha. talked about some stuff on the train too! *wink* hee. ultimately, we were very very high. people must have thought dunman high girls are crazy people, laughing non stop like mad people. whee.

lalala. actually nothing really exciting have been going on. the greatest news for this school week is: THERE'S NO TESTS! HAHAHA. though some tests that we got back were really disappointing while some were really good, i think as long as i did try, i know i haven't let myself down fully.

hmm what happened the past few days? erm. haha. can't remember. just know that it's been a very busy schedule and it'll still be. choir interview was so interesting. i like the year4 comm members which is like only 7 of us lol (quoting jingqi here). still, they're a lovely bunch. teckhuat is like so cute. he sat beside me and gave those funny expresions. heh.

today my piano teacher called my mum and ask her why i didnt go for piano lesson. so my mum told me and i called her back and almost argued with her that she said next week! rawr. but nevermind lah, it doesn't matter, i'm still going next week. she confused herself lor. bleh.

it's been really long huh?

choir concert was okay. being the emcee, i was unusually nervous, afraid that i'd forget all my lines when i'm up there. really, i did stumble a bit, but i still went through it quite okay, considering that there were no rehearsals with the choir. oh well. i wouldn't say that i'm proud of the choir for their effort because there wasn't effort at all. maybe a little from the few members who care. but for the rest of them? who actually put in their 100% in each and every choir practice? not many sensed the urgency, not many took it seriously. are you happy now that we got scolded after a concert? it's like the first ever.

after concert was the best. went for dinner with 4C people at macs then went home together. yay thanks to all you guys who came for the choir concert although it wasn't an absolutely fabulous one. thanks to CHAK for coming even though he was limping!

well days after that were so busy because it's the last week. had tests and quizzes and busy schedules. choir handover's on the 28 march. our batch's comm will only be in lead for 9 months. it's so fast. too soon. we're not prepared and we're only beginning to settle down nicely into our positions. everything's so quick it's making it difficult for us to breathe. so much to do, so much to plan, yet so little time. how are we ever going to cope? i'm sure the 07~08 comm has already tried their best and though our time in the comm is short, we still did our very best to help the choir.

oh well. had this service learning training the past two days. actually it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. it was quite fun and when it ended yesterday, i felt like i really learnt something from there, from my group's dearest mentor - yvonne! although it was tiring doing all the collection and carrying, it was indeed a learning process. shuting, maureen and i even had drinks from this kind old lady. yay.

so well, now i'm stoning and contemplating whether should i start on my maths homework or wait till another since i have nothing much to do and can slack. heh. terence is so slack i feel like killing him. he practically has nothing to do lah! idiot. thanks for the baby shirt hor, terry and haoyi (: it's cute.

jingqi: don't be so stressed and don't think so much okay? you've already done your best and all of us can tell. it isn't easy being in your position especially when you've never been in the comm before. you had to learn a lot of things before you can finally settle in, yet now we're handing over already. we all know that you've tried your best dear. we all love you k. lyd loves you (:

I just hope things would go well and that everything would be fine. onus is you, not us. we can't always be there for you to support on.

left school with chuasimin, lynn and ronghui. leesimin, ovidia and cuiting caught up later so the girls walked together while i walked ahead with ronghui, since we were gonna study together. heh, really enjoyed studying with you!

oh yay i'm like finally back to post.

yesterday was fun, even though simin and i didn't join the class to go bainian, we did some other really fun things hahaha. it's a secret, SHH! ((: we did loads of shopping at tm, running around to find just one small thing which we never found lol hahaha. yepp so we met then we went to mini bits cause i needed to help ronghui buy some stuff xD

lunch was at ajisen. simin was superbly amazed at my bowl of soup that turned red after i dumped in the whole bowl of chilli hahaa. her soup was like white and mine was really really red xD i love chilli, whee!! oh ya, the siblings at the next table were like staring at me in horror. actually, i think they probably thought i'm a lunatic or something hahah.

went simin's house to finish up whatever we had to do. but we had some really messy accounting to do, which we solved in the end. see, we so pro!! hahaha. oh ya, thanks simin's mum for the red packet, the drink and the food! yay ahahha. the time spent at simin's house was real fun. we talked about a lot of things, we had our share of fun and laughter, and eeps! we were so biased!!! xD lol lol.

oooh i think i have a great appetite. i should list down what i ate. biscuits, ajisen, sushi, pao, chocs, sweet, gummy, instant noodle, egg, pie, instant noodle, cookies, bak kwa. i can't remember already ahaha. it was a really eventful day, but i guess life really isn't a bed of roses. things aren't always so smooth-sailing.

so for today, i just came home from this buffet at marina mandarin hotel. there's quite a variety but the food tasted just average. not like exceptionally good or something, but it wasn't bad either. it's nice, and i ate a lot, as expected of a girl like me haha. yepp, i'm so full now! lol.
