Stepping into school today felt so weird. I didn't see the usual smile and wave from the girl munching on her bread and doing her work at the same time, at the usual table in front of the drinks stall. I didn't hear the usual enthusiasm when greeting the principal as a school. I didn't feel the usual vibe from c23. I didn't feel the usual enthusiasm from myself. 

And I suddenly feel like crying.

But I know God is there for me, and I should really rejoice because God's there. I should rejoice because God loves me. In fact, that's exactly what I'm going to do! Rejoice! And be happy for the small happiness in life because I should really do what I tell others to! So yes! I'm going to be happy! And I'm going to work really hard and be a mugger! :D

Going to do all this to the glory of Christ :D

 and when these memories have come to pass

Been feeling quite lost recently, and thus have been praying hard for God's guidance. But then again, I don't actually know when or how God answers my prayers. That in itself, makes me more confused than I already am. The school year's starting, and I have absolutely no preparation for it and I don't know what to expect at all. I know this year's going to pass really fast, and before I know it, A's would probably be over.  

We were searching the scriptures during group time last night, for verses of kindness. And I thank God for that time, being able to search the scriptures. Because in the midst of doing it, and reading His word, it struck me as to how I should always love everyone, no matter what they do to me. Just like the verse I pointed out, Matthew 5:44 "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you". Because we are all sinners, and God is the only perfect one.

As I witnessed the many events happening, and all the tears that fled down my cheeks for these things, I was reminded of the verse in Ecclesiastes 3:3 "A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance". Indeed, there is a time for everything, just as our choir sang in the song "To Everything There Is a Season". I guess whatever happened, is just a part of God's perfect plan for us, and we have to learn to accept it, grow stronger through it, and move on. And I hope the many souls out there would be able to realise this too.

Gonna miss you guys.

i want so badly to do something for you, to get you out of that hellish place. but what exactly can i do? it hurts me so much to know what you have to go through, and i feel so helpless and useless when all i can do is just to listen. i promise to get you out one day. i promise you.

VEDH was fantastic today. Thanks Dominic and co.! I'm sure we all managed to take something away from this huddle and probably, caused us to start thinking on ways we can help these people.

I found it good. Even though my group - Tak, Tricia, Gary, Dominic Soh - went to places where we couldn't interact with the people there and there weren't really any interesting things. Yet I thought what we learnt during the talk from Dominic and Elvis was great, and really gave us an insight to loads of things.

Thank God these participants were willing to come. Thank God for the great experience today, and thank God for the great weather; even though it rained a bit, it stopped after awhile. Thank God for safety for all the participants. Thank God for everything that happened today! :D

Wanted to do this post some time ago, but I was lazy. I shall do it now!

2009 has passed. So quickly, in fact. And I have so many people I want to thank, for the impact they had in my life, besides my family, of course, who are of great importance in my life.

Most importantly, I'd like to thank God, for seeing me through the past year, that I was able to move on with life, stronger and happier than ever. Thank God, for enlightening me, directing my paths, and for giving me the strength and wisdom throughout, that now I find joy and strength in everything I do. Basically, thank God for everything.

I want to thank them of my school, for giving me such "encouragement" all these while. That because of what they did and what they said, I was so "encouraged" to drop my ranks in school, and to almost entirely turn my full attention to other things in life. Thank you for being the BEST ever, and for letting the school become my second home which i so totally adore. I just CAN'T WAIT for another year with all of you, and don't worry I'm sure under your influence, I'll definitely be able to succeed in pulling the school's average down for A's.

Thank you Valentia, for all your patience this year, considering how much I broke down and how much I complained. BLESSED NEW YEAR :D

I had a fantastic time with the few of the YFers who went to countdown together! I'm so glad we managed to catch the fireworks display, it was so pretty! :D I really thank God for bringing me through 2009, where I made so many new friends, changed my outlook on life, became a more cheerful and optimistic person, and most of all, came to Christ. It's been such a great journey, this 4-5 months. I became so much stronger spiritually in Christ and learned to just cast all my burdens unto Him, for He will decide which path I should venture.

Thank God for helping me trudge forward, leaving behind the hateful past. Thank God, for putting me through all those difficult times in the past that I am now able to rely on and trust in Him more than ever, and that I have become so strong. Thank God, for all the guidance He has given me throughout the past 17 years of my life. Thank God, for never leaving me. And I continue to grow in Him with this new year, to make firm my stand and my faith and strive in being a good testimony for Him.
